A guide to choosing apps and websites to block on Jomo

Want to block apps and sites with Jomo? We'll show you how!

With Jomo, you can block all the apps installed on your phone, as well as ALL the websites you want, in just a few taps. A great way to regain control of your time.

đź”’ How do I block apps and websites?

To start blocking content you'll need to create a blocking rule. Then press the “Apps & Websites” section.

The app selector is a screen generated by Apple, over which Jomo has no control (neither over its operation, nor over the organization of apps and categories). This list is a directory of installed/used apps and frequently visited sites on your device.

At the top of the screen, you have two options for blocking content:

Only: only selected applications and websites will be blocked.
All Except: all apps and websites will be blocked except those you have selected.

🤔 How many apps and sites can I block?

In “Only” mode, you can block as many categories as you like. On the other hand, if you select only app by app, there is a limit that must not be exceeded. This is set at 49 applications and 49 websites. This limit is not a choice on our part, but a technical limit imposed by Apple (and concerns all third-party Screen Time applications).

In “All except” mode, the operation is the same. The limit is also set at 49 applications and 49 websites.
