πŸ•΅οΈ Why is private browsing on Safari disabled?

If you've activated one of the following rules or options, private browsing on Safari will be automatically disabled:

Blocking adult content
A rule blocking websites across all browsers (selected from the "Additional Options & Websites" section)

These are technical constraints imposed by Apple, which unfortunately we can't avoid.

πŸ€” How can you restore private browsing?

If you're blocking adult content, unfortunately, there are no alternative options.
If you're blocking websites using only method 2 described in this article, then private browsing will remain available.

If private browsing remains unavailable after trying to restore it, force restart your phone and check if it’s caused by another screen time app you might have installed.
