My limit is not displaying the correct usage time
Time limits on Jomo rely on Apple’s Screen Time data. Occasionally, incorrect data is sent to Jomo, often due to bugs in Screen Time. These bugs are rare, but they may happen more often on some devices. For transparency, we label the limits as "BETA" while awaiting fixes from Apple.
In the meantime, follow the steps below if you're having trouble with your time limit.
On rare occasions, Apple stops sending usage data to Jomo. The limit gets stuck and no longer reflects actual usage. In this case, you need to restart the monitoring manually:
Open the blocking rule and scroll down.
Press Refresh.
Repeat the process if it doesn't work the first time.
If you want to set a time limit for a website like reddit.com or instagram.com, make sure to i**nclude the Reddit or Instagram app as well**. For popular services, Apple attributes time spent on the website to the app, so monitoring only the website won’t work (strange, right?).
If you don’t want access to these apps, you can always block them permanently with Jomo.
If the issue occurs frequently, you may need to reconnect Jomo to Apple's Screen Time:
Open this link on your iPhone or iPad
Accept the authorization request by pressing Continue, then Authorize.
Check that your limit has been reset. If it hasn’t, you can retry the refresh procedure from step 1.
If you continue experiencing issues, you can activate an alternative monitoring method that should be more reliable. The downside is that your limit will only update once the threshold is met, and you won't be able to check progress live. To enable it:
Open your blocking rule.
At the bottom, in the More section, deactivate the Monitor real-time usage option.
Confirm, then refresh your rule.
If the time shown in your limit is much higher than your actual usage, it might be counting usage from your other Apple devices, like your Mac or iPad. To fix this, do this on every Apple device you use:
Open the Settings app.
Tap Screen Time.
Turn off Share Across Devices.
The change takes effect tomorrow. If your limit is still wrong the next day, it could be a bug merging screen time from different devices even with sharing off. While waiting for Apple to fix it, do this on all devices except your main iPhone:
Open Settings.
Tap Screen Time.
Tap Turn Off App and Website Activity.
In a few hours or by the next day, your limit should now accurately track the time spent.
In the meantime, follow the steps below if you're having trouble with your time limit.
↘️ The usage time shown in my limit is LOWER than the actual time used

2. Monitoring popular websites? Check if the app is included
If you want to set a time limit for a website like reddit.com or instagram.com, make sure to i**nclude the Reddit or Instagram app as well**. For popular services, Apple attributes time spent on the website to the app, so monitoring only the website won’t work (strange, right?).
