How to exclude websites from adult content blocking in Jomo?

Jomo includes a feature that allows you to block adult content. Sometimes, the filters that are provided to us by Apple can be a little too robust, unintentionally blocking websites that aren't strictly adult-oriented, such as underwear brands or health-related sites.

This article will guide you through the steps to specify which websites should be excluded from adult content blocking.

Navigating to the Exclusion Settings

To reach the settings where you can specify excluded websites, follow these steps:

Open the Jomo app on your iOS device.
Go to "Rules/Focus" > "Sessions"
Locate the session that is currently blocking adult content and tap on it to view the details.
At the bottom of the first section, tap on the "See more" button.

Adding Websites to the Adult Content Whitelist

After tapping on "See more," you'll be taken to the adult content whitelist screen. Here’s how to add websites to your whitelist:

In the whitelist screen, you will see an input field for entering the domain name of the website you wish to exclude.
Enter the domain name (e.g., "victoriassecret.com") - Porn websites will be rejected.
Tap the "Add" button to finalize the exclusion.

After adding, the website should now be accessible during your adult content blocking session.

We hope this guide helps you fine-tune your adult content blocking settings. If you encounter any issues or have further questions, feel free to reach out to us.
