How To Fix The App Picker When It’s Not Working Properly?

The picker can be especially unstable on iOS 17 and iOS 18 devices. If your iPhone can run iOS 26, we recommend updating it.

How To Fix It?

Reconnect Jomo to Screen Time:

1. Open this link on your iPhone.
2. When Jomo shows the permission prompt, tap Allow.

Copy and Paste the Name from the Notes App:

1. Open the Notes app.
2. Type the name of the app, website, or category you want to block.
3. Copy the name.
4. Go to Jomo.
5. In Block, paste the name into the search bar.
6. Select the app.
7. Confirm by tapping ✓.

Use Voice Dictation:

1. In Block, tap the microphone icon in the search bar.
2. Say the name of the app, category, or website.
3. Select the name.
4. Confirm by tapping ✓.

Don’t see the microphone icon? Make sure dictation is enabled by going to iPhone ▸ Settings ▸ General ▸ Keyboard▸ Enable Dictation.
