Estimated Screen Time Is Incorrect: How To Fix It?
In this article, you’ll find a complete tutorial about Estimated Screen Time and what to do if it isn’t working properly. Please read carefully and follow the instructions all the way through.

What Is Estimated Screen Time?
For most features, Jomo uses the screen time data shared by Apple through our connection to Screen Time. However, in some areas, that data cannot be used. Jomo therefore calculates its own screen time so it can continue working.
This time is an estimate: its reliability is more limited, with average variations of 5 to 10 minutes, and it refreshes less frequently, every 5 to 15 minutes.
How to Fix Incorrect Time in Squads, Widgets, or Limits?
The connection to Screen Time is highly secure, and we cannot freely manipulate the data. For some features, Apple does not allow access to this data. Because of this, we created an alternative Screen Time calculation system called Estimated Screen Time.
Fix Estimated Screen Time That Is HIGHER Than the Real Time
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Go to Screen Time.
- Turn off Share Across Devices.
Please note that changes will take effect after 24 hours. If the issue persists, we recommend fully turning off Screen Time on your other devices.

Fix Estimated Screen Time That Is LOWER Than the Real Time
- Open Jomo.
- Go to Home ▸ … ▸ Estimated screen time.
- Tap Refresh total time.
- If you excluded apps, tap Refresh excluded apps.
There’s no need to tap the buttons 20 times. These actions take about 5 minutes on average to run. Otherwise, Jomo may crash.

Reconnect Jomo to Screen Time
- Open this link on your iPhone.
- When Jomo shows the permission prompt, tap Allow.
