How to do Pomodoro with Jomo?

The Pomodoro method is all about working in "intervals." That means working in fixed time blocks, each followed by short, limited breaks.

The usual cycle looks like this

πŸ… 25 min focus > ⏸️ 5 min break > πŸ… 25 min focus > ⏸️ 5 min break > πŸ… 25 min focus > ⏸️ 5 min break > πŸ… 25 min focus > πŸ›‘ 15–30 min break.

Once finished, you can repeat the cycle.

How can I create a Pomodoro Session in Jomo?

  1. Open Jomo > Rules.
  2. Tap Quick Session.
  3. Block: Choose the apps you want to block.
  4. Active: Set to 1h55.
  5. Difficulty > Breaks > Number of breaks: 3 / Before each break: Do nothing / More > Max break duration: 5 min - Delay between breaks: 25 min.
  6. Tap Add to templates.

Note: To start the session, just tap your template and launch it. Don’t forget to set a timer on your side (using the Clock app, for example) to keep track of your break times.
