Tl;dr: Request a refund from Apple

Subscriptions are handled and billed by Apple (iTunes). No payment is made directly to Jomo.

How do in-app purchases work?

In exchange for a percentage of sales (30%), Apple manages Jomo Plus billing for us. They handle: auto-renewals, billing, and refunds. At the end of each month, Jomo receives a lump sum without any customer or payment details. Apple doesn’t share who purchased what or how. This means we’re unable to issue refunds directly.

How can I request a refund?

1. Sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com
2. Tap I’d like to, then select Request a refund.
3. Choose a reason.
4. Tap Next.
5. Select the app Jomo.
6. Tap Submit.

Apple usually processes refund requests within 72 hours. Unless the feature has been abused, they usually approve them. Keep in mind that in some countries, customers have a legal right to cancel (e.g. 15 days in France).

What if Apple rejected my request?

If your request was denied, it likely didn’t meet Apple’s eligibility criteria. Here are some possible reasons:

1. You missed the refund withdrawal (typically over 31 days, varies by country).
2. You’ve abused the refund feature.
3. You’re ineligible for an unknown reason.
4. You’ve already received a refund for this service.

Unfortunately, Jomo can't refund you directly or override Apple’s decision. However, you can appeal the decision by contacting Apple Support.

You canceled your subscription to switch to the Lifetime Plan and want a refund

Cancel your subscription

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap your name.
3. Go to Subscriptions.
4. Tap Jomo.
5. Cancel the subscription.

Request a refund

1. Sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com
2. Tap I’d like to, then Request a refund.
3. Choose a reason.
4. Tap Next.
5. Select the app Jomo.
6. Tap Submit.

Upgrade to Lifetime

1. Open Jomo.
2. Go to Profile > Settings > Get Plus.
3. Purchase the Lifetime Plan.
