How do I get a refund for my Jomo Plus subscription?

Want to request a refund? We'll tell you how.

Tl;dr: Request a refund from Apple

At Jomo, subscriptions are only available via the App Store (iTunes). So, if you've taken out a subscription, you've actually purchased it from Apple, who then takes care of sending us the payments at the end of the month (after commission). If Apple handles the payments, they also handle the refund requests, so you'll need to make your request to their department, via a two-step form.

πŸ› οΈ How do I get my money back?

Don't worry, it's quick and easy (it's Apple). It takes less than a minute, and if you don't abuse it, you should get your money back in no time.

πŸ‡«πŸ‡· If you bought your Jomo subscription less than 14 days ago, don't hesitate to mention the legal right of retraction in France.

πŸ“œ How does it work?

You'll need to log in via your Apple ID on Apple's secure Report A Problem site. In the "What can we do for you β€˜ section, select ’I'd like to... Request a refund ”. In the β€œTell us more” section, select the reason you feel is appropriate. Then, from the list, select Jomo.

πŸ“… How long does it take?

If you don't abuse refunds, you'll receive confirmation of your refund within a few hours. After that, it can take between 48 and 72 hours to complete the necessary checks. Don't panic if you don't receive your refund in your bank account immediately.

❌ Apple refused my request

As explained, at Jomo we don't process payments directly, 100% of operations are handled by Apple. If Apple has refused your request, and we're sorry, unfortunately we won't be able to process the refund ourselves.

Here are the main reasons for Apple's refusal:

Withdrawal period exceeded (+31 days, varies by country)
Abuse of functionality
Ineligible reason
Refund already made on the same service

If you wish to contest their refusal, we invite you to contact Apple customer support and let them know your request.

πŸ’œ I cancelled my subscription by mistake and would like to re-subscribe.

Have you changed your mind? No worries, we'll always welcome you with open arms. To resume a subscription on Jomo, you can:
Go to Profile > Settings
At the top of the page, you'll see an option to upgrade to Premium.
You'll then be prompted to select the type of subscription you want.
Click OK!
