My widget does not display the correct screen time

Noticed a Time Difference Between Your Goal in the App and in the Widget? Here’s the Explanation!

While the times are supposed to be identical, there may be instances where this is not the case. So, what’s happening and how do you fix it?

💥 The Widget Synchronizes Data from Other Devices

The widget uses an "estimated" screen time calculated by Jomo, which sums up the time spent on each app. However, this calculation may be disrupted by native iPhone features, such as "Share Across Devices."

If you notice that your widget shows you have completely used up your daily budget when that’s not true, we invite you to check that "Share Across Devices" is disabled. Learn more

✨ The Widget/App Needs a Refresh

To avoid high performance consumption, the widget refreshes approximately every 5 minutes (this limit is set by Apple). It is therefore "normal" that you might encounter a difference of about 5 minutes between the app and the widget. To refresh the estimated time and re-sync the app and the widget, simply: open Jomo.
