🛠️ What are the different modes?

You can choose between 4 different ways to apply Strict Mode.

When the rule is blocking: The rule will be locked by Strict Mode when it’s currently blocking content.
Until a specified date: The rule will be locked by Strict Mode until a specified time in the future.
Permanently, with a random code: The rule will be blocked by Strict Mode at all times. You will need to type out a random code to temporarily deactivate it.
Permanently, with a password: The rule will be blocked by Strict Mode at all times. You will need to enter a password to temporarily deactivate it. This can be a useful feature for parents or someone with an accountability partner.

🛡️ How do I activate Strict Mode?

In your rule's detail screen, enable the "Strict Mode" option.
A configuration screen will appear. Choose how you want Strict Mode to apply, then tap "Save."
When you try to schedule or update your rule, an alert will appear summarizing your Strict Mode setup. If you're ready to proceed, simply tap "OK".

⚠️ Before enabling Strict Mode, we recommend launching your rule and checking that everything is working properly. Once Strict Mode is activated, it will no longer be possible to make changes.‎

🗑️ How can I delete apps in Strict Mode?

Don't want this extra protection? No problem, it's optional. Please note that this step can't be performed if Strict Mode is already active.

In your rule's detail screen, tap on the "Strict Mode" option.
Scroll to the “More” section at the bottom of the screen.
Uncheck the “Deny app removal” option.
