You Declined Notifications When You Joined Jomo, or They Don’t Seem to Work? We’re Here to Help!



Like many of you, we dislike spammy notifications! That's why, on Jomo, notifications are designed to help you and are 100% customizable.


🔔 How to Enable Notifications on Jomo?



To enable notifications after installing Jomo, follow these steps:

Open the Settings on your iPhone.
Go to Notifications > Jomo.
Tap on “Allow Notifications.”

💡 Make sure to enable "Critical Alerts" so you can receive notifications even in Do Not Disturb mode.


🔕 How to Disable the "Are You 🙂 or 😕?" Notification?



Not interested in this feature or no longer want to be notified? Here’s how to disable it:

Open Jomo, then go to "Profile."
Tap on Settings at the top.
Go to the "Notifications" section.
Uncheck "Daily Reminder" in the first section.


🏁 How to Disable the Start & End of Session Notifications?



Don't want to be reminded when your session starts or ends? Here’s how to disable it:

Open Jomo, then go to "Rules."
Open your rule by tapping on it.
Tap on "More" at the bottom.
Uncheck "Notifications."
Confirm your changes!


🚩 How to Disable the "End of Break" Notifications?



Don't want to be notified when your break ends or is about to end? Here’s how:

Open Jomo, then go to "Profile."
Tap on Settings at the top.
Go to the "Notifications" section.
Uncheck "End of Break" and/or "Reminder Before End of Break."


🎯 How to Enable a Screen Time Goal Notification?



Want to be notified before exceeding your screen time goal or after using for X minutes? Here’s how:

Open Jomo, then go to "Home."
Tap on the "🎛️" icon > "Screen Time Goals."
At the bottom, you will find options to customize notifications.


⏱️ How to Enable Notifications for a Time Limit?



Want to be reminded before your apps get blocked by a time limit? Here’s how:

Open Jomo, then go to "Rules."
Open your rule by tapping on it.
In the “If — Usage Exceeds …” section, tap on the + at the bottom of the screen to enable notifications.
Set the values of your choice (0 = disables the feature).
Confirm your changes!


🛠️ Notifications Don’t Seem to Work, What Should I Do?



In rare cases, notifications might not work properly. If you're experiencing this issue, here's what to do:

Open Jomo, then go to "Profile" > "Settings" > "Notifications," and tap on "Allow Notifications."
Force restart your iPhone. Follow this Apple guide on how to do it.
Uninstall & Reinstall Jomo on your device. Then, during the setup process, accept notifications.
