# How to Block Websites on iPhone or iPad with Jomo?

In this article, you’ll find all the useful information you need about blocking websites, either across all browsers or only in Safari. We recommend taking your time and carefully following the instructions.

**Please note:** the first method disables Private Browsing and browsing history on devices running iOS 16, 17, and 18.

Please note: this method is only available for Sessions.

**To block websites:**

1. Open **Jomo**, then go to **Rules**.
2. Tap **Start Blocking** or select an existing rule.
3. Tap **Block**, then **Additional Options & Websites** at the bottom.
4. Type the website URL in the search bar.
5. Tap **+** to confirm.
6. Finish the setup, then confirm by tapping **✓**.

## ${color}[#000000](**How to Block Websites Only in Safari**)

Please note: this method may affect how some services work. This is especially true for Facebook, Amazon, and YouTube. Please avoid selecting websites such as `m.facebook.com`, which may block **Messenger** and **WhatsApp**, or `m.youtube.com`. **Blocking the apps will be enough to block the web version.**

**To block websites:**

1. Open **Jomo**, then go to **Rules**.
2. Tap **Start Blocking** or select an existing rule.
3. Tap **Block**, then select the content you want to block.
4. Finish the setup, then tap **✓**.
