# How to Block Downloading Apps / Apps Installs on iPhone?

As long as the rule is active, **you won’t be able to install new apps from the App Store**. Make sure to set one or two short breaks per day so you can install apps in case of an emergency.

# **How to block app installations?**

1. Open **Jomo** > **Rules**.  
2. Tap `+`.  
3. Tap `Recurring Session`.  
4. Under Block, tap `Additional Options & Websites`.  
5. Check `App Installations`.  
6. Tap `Save`.

**Note**: We recommend adding **one break per day**, with a **max duration of 5 minutes** (**Difficulty** > **Breaks**. **Number of breaks:** 1 / **Before each break:** None / **More:** Max. Duration: 5 min).
