# How Does Jomo’s Journaling Feature Work?

## ${color}[#000000](**How to tag an app as Productive or Distracting?**)

In 2023, Jomo introduced, for the first time in the Screen Time space, the ability to tag apps as *Productive* or *Distracting*. On top of that, you can also assign specific activities to what you do on each app.

**Change an app’s categorization:**

1. Open Jomo, then go to **Home**.
2. In the **Most used** section, tap on an app.
3. Tap 📱 **Pick an activity** and choose an activity from the list.
4. Tap 😐 **Neutral** and select whether it was *Distracting* or *Productive*.
5. Enable **Always apply for this app** to set this as the default.
6. Confirm by tapping **✓**.

**To make changes:**

1. Open Jomo, then go to **Home ▸ … ▸ Activities**.
2. Tap an activity to edit or delete it.
3. Tap **+ Add** to create a new one.
